If you are not an individual and not a free lancer, but yes if you want a work for your company, contact me.... no upfront money, but yes you will have to pay me commission according to the payment what you receive from the client. sharing propotion 40:60, slightly negotiable, 40 mine, and 60 company. Yes itsashy4u you are right,
We are happy to hear somebody is offering direct contracts, but taking 40% from 3-6 cents, what you will get, peanuts. Even JMT will get more than that.

Hey Samuelmt, if the offer is more than ¢8, only then it leaves a reasonable ¢5 to the mt. So better lower your commission to 20% or raise the payment to ¢8. With your price structure, your clients may get a junior mt level transcription.

Yes, their is no game with the direct client. It takes efforts to get foreign money going on to your pocket right? I am ensuring that you get paid in Dollar currency not indian currency, and i am not like other asking or upfront money or any advance as i belive in working and earning. Well i understand 40% is high, but yes i can negotiate accordingly. Thanks everybody for your comments.

You posted this on 01/16/2007, so there is little chance that you may read this, but still.....
You offering work at this rate only to companies and not to individuals and freelancers sounds way off. Even if all your clients pay 6 cpl, at 60:40 it works out to 4 cents for the company and 2 cents for you. Like I said¡¡..¡way off.
Now, lets take the actual scenario. Your clients pay anywhere from 3 cpl to 6 cpl. Assuming an average of 4.5 cpl, at 60:40 the company gets 2.7 cents and you get 1.8 cents. Way, way off.
Even if you negotiate to share at 70:30, with 70 for the company, the company gets 3.15 cents and you get 1.35 cents¡¡¡¡what were you thinking brother?
It would still be a tragic calculation even at 75:25.
Even individuals and freelancers earn more.

Wake up. Please brush up your math skills a bit. Just imagine, he has mentioned 3 cpl to 6 cpl. Lets take on an average 4 CPL, so that come around 1.80 rs per line. In that, if his share is say around 35%, so he gets to take 63 paise. SO, that comes around 1.17 rupees per line, that to direct upload quality, 99% and above. Common, i have seen many offers better than this just for home-based transcription.
And for Mr. Samuel, please do not degrade this industry more by going public with your offer of "40 mine, 60 yours."
This is not child play, this is a marvelous industry upon which many families are dependent. If at all you have contacts to get client directly from US, its good to hear, good for you and for your MTs. U speak with parties interested in you offer personally rather than putting up ads like these.

I have just completed MT course and would like to inform you that I am having 2 PCs with broadband connection at Home. I have been working in a French MNC and have taken VRS. I have completed my school education from a convent school and have good command over English. Also I am well versed with computers and internet. I can devote 14 hours daily for MT and also can expand the team by hiring MTs.
