May your tribe and company flourish. May your name and fame spread far and wide across the length and breadth of the BPO/ITES in all the eight directions around and about the globe!
Wannabe fresh MT professionals, be prepared for a lucrative career in a fastest growing company and be prepared to BRAVE the odds!
Long live the industry!
(Never knew I was sitting on a goldmine all these years and it was ever so easy to start off an MT company or even a consultancy firm...Hmm...things have really changed a lot in these eight short years of my experience...)
Regards,
IndianMT

Indianmt and Logoff,
One thing you guys have to admit, this guy is not only BRAVE, but he sure has brass b**ls. This is what distinguishes him from saps like us. To go ahead cheerfully and rape the english language every which way, waiting with the old saying" MT, empty, please do walk into my parlour" like the proverbal spider takes a lot of guts. Or am I missing something?
But then that is what life is all about, is'nt it? The bitter irony is that this guy is probably laughing at us, instead of the other way, since there are no shortage of desperate suckers out there, although common sense says he cannot possibly survive with that lovely language of his. I did not know whether to throw up, have a hernia or what after going through his bit. To think this is what medical transciption is coming to is very galling.
Contrariwise, I am extremely glad to see that the rate per line has gone up in the past few days, if the offers placed in this forum is anything to go by. If more serious-minded MTs could be strong enough and refuse to do work for less than Rs. 1.20 per line, then this could augur good for the future, with only serious companies making good offers. The companies will start taking us seriously if we can resist working for lesser pay.
Sometimes, it is nice to see progress too. Keep it up, guys. |
